Information you provide
Tutoring enquiries may include the learner’s name, grade, subject, area, learning needs and the responsible adult’s contact details. Contact messages and tutor applications are saved so the academy can review and respond. For younger learners, a parent or guardian should manage enquiries and purchases.
Your learning account
When you sign in, the academy stores a provider account identifier, email and display name. Google sign-in verifies your identity token on the server; the site does not request access to your Gmail or Drive. Tasks, completed lesson checks, practice attempts, purchases and download permissions are associated with your signed-in account. Google is the only sign-in provider for learners, clients and staff.
Private family records
Tutoring schedules, shared family notes and invoices are shown only to an authorised active family account. A matching authoritative verified email is required for linking in the learning space. Internal notes are not shown. Contact the academy if an invitation or account link needs correcting.
Payments and digital products
Paystack processes card and payment details on its checkout. This site stores the order reference, email, amount, payment status and the packs purchased. It verifies successful transactions before granting file access. Full card details are not collected by Fast Learn’s forms.
Newsletter choices
If newsletter delivery is connected and you choose to subscribe, your email is sent to Brevo to request confirmation. The site records the request and consent time. Only the provider’s confirmation process adds you to the mailing list. Use the unsubscribe link in a newsletter or contact us to withdraw. Existing enquiry contacts are not automatically added.
Cookies and website visits
The language cookie remembers English or Afrikaans. Secure session and sign-in cookies support account access. The site also records aggregate page counts by path and date. Public form rate limits use a short-lived hash to limit repeated requests; these records are not a marketing profile. Hosting, Google, Paystack and the email provider process the information required for their services.
Your questions and requests
Ask us what information is held, request a correction or ask for deletion at admin@fastlearnacademy.co.za. We verify the request, review any records that need to be retained for operations or accounting, and explain the next step. Please do not send passwords, ID numbers, full card details or unnecessary sensitive learner information through a general form.
